Sophie-Jane trained privately in classical ballet with one of the UK’s leading coaches. After a career-altering injury, she fully embraced her passion for teaching.

While freelancing, she studied the Diploma of Dance Teaching at The Royal Ballet School. Sophie-Jane then joined Kings International Ballet Academy, teaching classical ballet, pointe work, and character.

She currently works as a Junior Associate teacher for The Royal Ballet School in Birmingham and rehearses students for performances at the Royal Opera House.

Sophie-Jane also teaches at Studio 79 in Leicester and is a longstanding faculty member at Midland Theatre Ballet. She has adjudicated at the Dance World Cup World Finals and taught masterclasses across the UK.
