Sofia began her training at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de A Coruña, Spain, before joining The Royal Ballet School in 2015, where she trained for five years.

She graduated in 2020 and joined Birmingham Royal Ballet as an Artist, earning promotion to First Artist in 2023.

Sofia’s repertoire includes key roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara, and Rose Fairy in The Nutcracker; Dawn, Gypsy, and Swanhilda’s friends in Coppélia; Lead Harlot and Juliet’s friends in Romeo and Juliet; and Mercedes, Kitri’s Friends, and Lead Gypsy in Don Quixote. She has also performed Pas de Quatre, Polish Princess, and Cygnets in Swan Lake, alongside various pas de deux including Diana and Acteon, Our Waltzes, and Carmen.
