Peter Parker trained under Christopher Gable at the Central School of Ballet before joining Northern Ballet Theatre under Gable’s direction. Between 1988 and 1994, he performed in ballets such as Coppélia, Don Quixote, and Memoir Imaginare, with principal roles including Albrecht in Giselle and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.

In 1994, Peter moved to France to become a principal dancer with Ballet du Rhin, performing a varied repertoire from neo-classical works to classics like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.

He has choreographed works including Bird in the Hand, Bitter Harvest, and Memoir Perdu, and created a full-length Nutcracker for Manchester City Ballet in 2010. Peter has taught at Northern Ballet School, Kate Simmons School, MADD College Nottingham, and guest taught internationally at institutions such as the Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School.
