Born in Nottinghamshire, Joshua began his training at KSDance. After graduating, he danced with the Serbian National Ballet and Bosnian National Ballet before returning to the UK to join London Contemporary Ballet Theatre.

Joshua completed his teaching qualification at the Royal Ballet School and now teaches ballet, pas de deux, and repertoire at Rambert School. He also works extensively as a private coach across the UK and internationally.

Since 2014, Joshua has regularly taught and choreographed for Midland Theatre Ballet, South West Theatre Ballet, and Belfast Theatre Ballet.
