Georgina began dancing at Harlequin Stage School in Worcester before winning a place at the Royal Ballet School. She trained at White Lodge and the Upper School, graduating in 2002. After graduation, she joined Northern Ballet and quickly rose to principal dancer by age 21.
Her principal roles included Odile in Swan Lake, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Constance in The Three Musketeers, Lucy in Dracula, Cathy in Wuthering Heights, and Lucie in A Tale of Two Cities. She also created roles in David Nixon’s Hamlet and A Sleeping Beauty Tale.
Georgina retired in 2012 to pursue teaching, completing the Professional Dancers’ Teaching Course at the Royal Ballet School. She has taught at Northern Ballet’s Graduate Training, Centre for Advanced Training, and English National Ballet School. She is now Principal Lecturer at Performers College, Birmingham.
